Watch The Tale of Despereaux that day and wanted to say how much I loved the soundtracks. They are not those active, action soundtracks just like Pirates of the Caribbean, but they are those nice country, town, sail feeling soundtracks that fits right into place into the animation. Besides that of course is the cute characters, particularly the mouse. you can see how cute the main character was drawn here:
The story is a very simple story which ends with forgiveness. Not much point pointed out but definitely enough to touch your heart, in terms of feeling what each of them feel. In here, they talked about difference of rats and mouse. Seriously, I never thought of how to differentiate rats and mouse. And there’s this soup, that really can ‘reach’ the spectator’s nostrils… And I admire the grief the movie maker successfully presented on the screen. It is overall-y well done. Looks like typical fairy tales, but yet, not that fairy.
