Birthday Video of Hazel

Truth to be told, it had been quite some time since I actually make a documentary on someone’s event, not to mention birthday celebrations. I guess, I had been too engrossed in having my own fun in those event rather than capturing every single moment of those fun and fix them on a certain time point inside a video or a frame or a film. Well, not this time, as I get the mood to just do something funny while others were having their time, during Hazel’s birthday.

We had dinner at JustAcia and I just clicked on my camera and captured some video, hoping they could fit into some funny video collage and here is the result.

I picked that song not because Hazel is becoming 23, because she’s not; it’s because I resonant with this song when I realized my age of 23 is leaving at the end of this year and the lyrics did wrote about being 23, although not entirely true. Enjoy!

Crème Caramel from Daiso

Ah, this is not the first time I blogged about crème caramel. In fact, this is not the first time I ate or the first time I make one. But this is the first time I tried a pudding mix from Daiso. The whole packet was two dollars and I just get myself a carton of milk, which is more than enough. I mixed the powder and milk together and poured them into a mould with the caramel and let it to settle in a fridge and voila!

I had doubted about the taste at first, but in contrast, the whole thing tasted quite good and I had even shared it with my housemate. Seeing as how convenient one could prepare a dessert like that, I wouldn’t mind to have crème caramel for most of my dessert until I get sick of it, blargh!

Anyway, this happened before I shifted my house, of course. I am yet to settle into this new environment, blimey!

Dance Moves

I would not have believe what I had done. I did have a kind of liking in dance moves, no matter they are energetic or elegant – well maybe not the too slow types. But anyway, I am not a dancing person, and I knew it since secondary school. It was just not something on the top of my to-do list and I just can’t!

And well, things may went a bit awkward when I actually decided to join in the session to learn part of the dance moves in Hwa Chong fac dance, just to be an entertainment for Hazel’s birthday and well, I guess, that’s what I could do for a friend, a floormate. So, I actually spent a few hours being taught the steps and voila! I was extremely slow in learning the steps and I just don’t have the dance spirit in me. Even till now, I was still amazed on what I just got myself into…

Here is a video of the training and the actual performance, Enjoy!
